Oh, the joys and tribulations of social media. That is what Nina is thinking on the way to visit an old high school boyfriend after almost three decades. They haven’t really talked much in all the time since they dated.
She is nervous for lots of reasons, mainly because she doesn’t really know what to expect, either from herself or from him. From his obscure communications she has gathered that he has something to say to her, but even that is a guess as all their communications have been emails and postings online. Even the few pictures he shared were blurred and distant.
But, if for nothing but old times’ sake, she had accepted his offer to fly out to see him for a weekend in Omaha. She’d have to figure out how he ended up there as well…
