Faith and Sarah are best friends who have known each other their whole lives. Their bond goes beyond love, but their close relationship has made it difficult for them to form bonds with other people, and as such they are incredibly lonely.
At first they decide it might be a good idea to share one man, since having separate relationships never seem to work, but when Faith meets her perfect match it could hold more in store for Sarah than she would assume.

Faith slammed the door behind her as she returned to the apartment. She jerked her head around so violently that her hair whipped around her face and the tracks of her tears were visible underneath her hazel eyes. She dropped her bag on the floor and flung herself down on the couch, where her best friend and roommate, Sarah, was waiting.
“Another one bites the dust?” Sarah asked. Faith looked up at her and Sarah was instantly moved by the bleary and bloodshot eyes. Faith’s lip began trembling.
“I really liked him,” she said, and collapsed onto her friend’s shoulder. Sarah wrapped her arms around Faith and held her tightly, brushing away her hair and making comforting sounds. Sarah’s body shook with soft sobs, but eventually she stopped shaking.
