Marcie is a social sciences major, which means a lot of political conversations about ideas that get people riled up. Unfortunately, one of those people is her classmate Wes, who can’t seem to say anything without annoying every woman in the class. It turns out when you are in a classroom full of women, you shouldn’t insult every woman on the planet.

So when Marcie ends up assigned to a project with Wes, she has to do the best she can to find the best in him. As she helps him shed his negative attitude toward women, it turns out he might have a positive attitude toward her.

Marcie was sitting in her Sociology class, and professor Gareth was splitting up the class into groups of two for a presentation. So far she got along with most of the other students in her class. The class was mostly girls, which didn’t surprise her since it was focused on gender politics, but there was a fair share of boys in the class as well.

One of those boys was Wes Michaels, who sat near the front of the class. Every day she dreaded him opening his mouth. He was one of those guys who would slow down the whole class for a chance to read some strange study…
