Kate has inherited a distillery from her grandfather which is based in Rio de Janeiro, though she is confused about why it was left to her and not to someone else, such as her brother who is a wizard at business. She decides to fly down and visit this distillery and learn more about the company, and perhaps in doing so she would learn what her grandfather wished for her to do with the business.
Kate discovers a new world in Brazil, and embraces it with open arms. She also meets Roque, the handsome Brazilian man who will take over the operation of the business when his father retires. Their lives are now thrown together, for better or for worse, and Kate wants to make sure it is for the better…

The apartment she rented was perfect. The furnishings were old and a bit worn, but it was much better than staying in a hotel. Kate was in Rio de Janeiro and she intended to make the most of the time she was here. According to her accountant, and some items on her itinerary, she was here in Rio on business, but she knew that she wasn’t going to be spending a whole month here in an office going over paperwork. There was some work to be done however, and she did look forward to getting there.
