Needing a break from the dullness that she’d fallen into, Dana contemplated calling her sister, but wasn’t ready for that level of drama. She called her brother-in-law, Clark, who picked up on the first ring.
“Hey, Dana! How are you? I tried to call you a while back but…”
She swallowed hard, “Yeah, I switched carriers. Look, please don’t tell Linda that I called.”
