Daniella has been working the phones for so long that she can’t remember what an actual relationship sounds like. Although she graduated from college and is a certified nurse, her job as a phone sex operator has just become a comfortable part of her life. When she is reminded of her need to re-certify, she starts wondering if she still has what it takes to save lives.
After a dangerous incident in a parking lot, Daniella is tempted to give up on her dream and go back to the phones, even though she saves a man’s life. For a while, everything seems like status quo. That is, until she gets a call from the man that she saved.

It’s only noon and I’m about ready to fall asleep. I’ve been working this banal, dead-end job for way too long. At first, it was fun getting a chance to talk to people all day, but after a while, it just ends up being the same thing over and over. Sure the phone-sex industry isn’t what it used to be, but at least the people calling in when I started here had some creativity. I have women callers from time to time, but they have a tendency to get pretty brutal.
