There was one problem with working at home, Mari’s life started to take on a schedule. Despite having the freedom to get up whenever she wanted, she had to force herself out of bed just to go to her computer. Sure she could work in her underwear, but a month of that taught her that getting dressed made her more productive. Essentially, she was living the office life, but had the temptation of relaxation all around her.
Sometimes she felt like a puppy waiting at home. When Luke, her fiancé, put his lock in the door in the afternoon, she would almost trip over herself to get to the door. She loved being the first thing he saw when he got back. She would give him a hug and a kiss, and then they could talk about their respective days.
