“When we first bought the house,” Zelda Frost wrote in her journal, “we made love in every room. This took a considerable amount of time because the house contains six bedrooms, four full bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, formal living room, a family room and fully finished basement area that has a bar area, pool table and its own movie theater room.”
Zelda stopped writing for a moment and looked out the window from where she sat at her writing desk. The wide expanse of long, uncut, wild, peridot-green grass went on as far as the eye could see, and then plunged down dangerously into the Mediterranean Sea.
“This beautiful, beautiful country is like a poem that has no end. Spain is sensuality that is untamed and resistant to a normal perception of time. Spain embodies laughter and joy, and you can count on the intensity of every emotion being fulfilled, at nearly every moment.” Zelda scanned her journal entry for any grammar issues or misspelled words, then closed the journal decidedly and called out for her assistant.
