Janet couldn’t say that she’d paid much attention to the older couple that lived across the street from her new home until the night it first happened. At twenty years old she considered anyone over the age of forty to be old although in all honesty she wasn’t even sure if that applied to the couple.
She was certain they were in their mid-to-late thirties at least, although if they were older than that they certainly wore it well. The woman was blonde and petite, with a curvy physique that belied her small stature. The man on the other hand was tall and muscular and must have been nearly a foot taller than his partner.
