Hosting a slumber party for her live-in niece, Leah calls in a delivery order and lands a date with her employee and delivery driver. Being the co-owner of a pizzeria, she rarely has time to date, but after working with night-shift delivery driver Jack, she makes time.
After he agrees to work day shift in order to fill in gaps, she devises a hasty plan. When Jack is presented with an offer he can’t refuse, he readily agrees to switch to days. Both discover in a short while that, amongst work ethic and ages, they also enjoy each other’s humor. Everyone, including patrons of the pizzeria, detects their newfound chemistry.

Leah normally wouldn’t order pizza since she co-owned a pizzeria. Hosting a slumber party for her thirteen-year-old niece, she nodded and told the five teens, “Okay guys, I’ll get you pizza! Calm down.”
They immediately shrieked with joy. Leah grabbed her phone and called the number she already knew by heart as her hoard of teens ran down to the basement. When a familiar male voice answered, her eyes widened, “Oh, wait! Jack, right?”
The man laughed, “I’d know that voice anywhere. It barked at me on Tuesday last week. You’re going to crack that whip on me again, aren’t you?”
