The huge arena was filled with a fired-up crowd. Every seat in every row was sold out, although at the moment they were mostly empty, as the members of the crowd were stood up, awaiting the entrance of their favored titans. Music blared in the background but it could barely be heard over the chants of the audience.
The war of words was a battle between two huge armies, shouting and crying out to each other across the stadium. Spittle flew from crimson faces as emotions ran high, each person in the audience investing part of themselves in their chosen champion. If they won they would be soaring high through the sky like gods, but if they lost they would be in the pit of despair, and the victors would laud it over them as is the winner’s right.
