Kylie has just had a long and tiresome week at school, and has decided to take a road trip. The destination wasn’t a concern, and she was just going to go by the seat of her pants. There was nothing that she enjoyed more than taking on a new adventure, never quite knowing what was going to happen from one moment and the next.
She stops at a roadside restaurant, sits alone in the back, until she meets a man that is unlike anyone she has ever met before.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Kylie, because you know what happened the last time that you did this?” My best friend Carla was only trying to keep me level headed, as the last time that I had taken a road trip, I found myself in the middle of nowhere with a pack of wild dogs on my tail. It was just lucky that I found a forest ranger outlook post, and they were able to bring me safely back to the university.
