Basic addiction is an erotic short story, which shows the family life of Jim, a carpenter, who manipulates his son into giving him an alibi for missing frequently from home, in exchange for paying his school fees. But things get out of hand and strike back at you when you deceive and only think about yourself when you have a family life.

It was a rainy day in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Terrance was sitting at the kitchen table feeling very sad. He had been rejected from London Art School, painting being a lifelong dream of his. He really loved art and music, but mostly he loved having nice people around him, especially women. Going to a foreign Art School presented him with an opportunity to study what interested him, and meet people that speak English. He took the paper which rejected his application and tore it in half, then threw it in the trash can. Terrance then started looking out the window, seeing how black children were laboring for the upper class.
Jim walked into the room, feeling a little surprised to see his son staring blankly outside. He came close to him, and touched him on the shoulder.
“Is everything okay, son?”
