Cassie went up south to Arkansas to clean up her deceased brother’s mess. A big old farmhouse in disrepair, full of junk and papers. A terrific way to spend her vacation from the paper. Arkansas was a long way from Boston, but she had put off the task for a year, and had to face the numerous decisions of her brother’s estate.
The job was overwhelming, but the appearance of the local hardware store owner, the complex and conflicted Thomas, meant a helping hand and a visual fantasy that at least took Cassie’s mind off her immediate problems. Unfortunately, depending on Thomas for help with this big project meant lots of time together, and he was definitely a distraction. Could she put her libido in check and keep her mind on the work at hand?
