Victoria Lang is young attractive twenty five year old waitress working at a popular pub in London. She is somewhat of a wild cat and is convinced that there isn’t anyone out there for her that can accept her for who she is. Her nature was like a scar that kept her from trying to find someone. But Victoria isn’t entirely lonely because she has a special arrangement with one of her friends and he gives her the sexual satisfaction she craves from time to time. The only thing truly lacking in her life is passion and love.
She encounters a creature similar to herself one day in the market and at first she goes running for the hills afraid that he wouldn’t like her once he gets to know her. The physical attraction she has for the exotic looking Chayton St. Clair is undeniable. In spite of her bolting before he had the chance to ask her out Chayton persists and she eventually succumbs to his whims and lets him in. But he has a few literal scars of his own and just as she thinks she is falling in love with him, he lets her down in a way she did not see coming.
